I was eighteen ever the art kid and clay was one of the last mediums i was interested in. I create my surfaces for contemplation. When making pottery i search for poised forms that suggest sculpture respect utility and perform well. The irregularity of the bark of the tree or of its trunk.

Artist statement my work is inspired by the natural world and the human body. Octavio paz from seeing and using. Moods are suggested with warmth fluidity and translucency. Whether forming a vase that decorates a room or producing dinnerware that celebrates a meal my work is made to honor and enhance the rhythms of home life.
